ARPAD KOMJATHY, CIM, CFP, MBA

Arpad Komjathy immigrated to Canada in 1989 from Hungary as the Iron Curtain collapsed throughout Eastern Europe. He earned his undergraduate degree with honours at the Richard Ivey School of Business in 1998. Following his graduation he joined the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette as an investment banking analyst before returning to Canada to earn his MBA at his alma mater. Arpad became an independent financial advisor in 2005 and he holds the prestigious Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations.

Arpad is married and he and his wife are raising their four young children in Stouffville, Ontario. Outside of his family and business commitments, he enjoys wilderness canoeing, gardening and reading on a variety of subjects.
